Supply of laboratory equipment for metrology (Re-launch of Lot 2)

The Mission of the Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations (DG NEAR) is to take forward the EU’s neighbourhood and enlargement policies, as well as coordinating relations with EEA-EFTA countries insofar as Commission policies are concerned. DG NEAR works closely with the European External Action Service and the line DGs in charge of thematic priorities.

By implementing assistance actions in Europe’s eastern and southern neighbourhood, DG NEAR supports reform and democratic consolidation, and strengthens the prosperity, stability and security around Europe. DG NEAR helps to promote EU values, policies and interests in this region, and to contribute to developing the special relationship of the EU with its neighbouring countries.

The subject of the contract shall be the supply, delivery, unloading, installation (where applicable), training (where applicable), commissioning of the laboratory equipment in field of metrology. Project will enhance technical competencies of the Bureau of Metrology, in order to further support the implementation of relevant legislation and policies aligned with EU acquis. Procurement of specified equipment will enable significant improvements in the laboratories and support establishing better metrological traceability of the measurement results in the field of thermometry, providing quality services to its customers, as well as improving its own best measurement capabilities (CMC).
