Item Description:
The World Health Organization (WHO) was established in 1948 as a specialized agency of the United Nations. The objective of WHO (www.who.int) is the attainment by all peoples of the highest possible level of health. “Health”, as defined in the WHO Constitution, is a state of complete physical, mental and social well being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. WHO’s main function is to act as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work.
The WHO Secretariat consists of some 8,400 staff at the Organization’s headquarters in Geneva, in the six regional offices and in countries. The Secretariat is headed by the Director-General, who is appointed by the WHA on the nomination of the Executive Board. The head of each regional office is a Regional Director. Regional directors are appointed by the Executive Board in agreement with the relevant regional committee.
Purpose of the Invitation to bid (ITB)
In order to meet under the shortest delays requirements for WHO Activities and Programs, Procurement Policy and Coordination of the World Health Organization wishes to establish Long Term Agreement for oxygen concentrator equipment as follows:

- Mask with Reservoir Bag
- Mask, oxygen, with connection tube, nose clip and neck band, non-sterile, singe use
- Venturi Mask
- Non-Heated Bubble Humidifier
- Flow splitter for oxygen concentrator
Proposed items should be aligned with WHO technical requirements and the technical specifications described in the Annexes.
The result of the bidding will be used to establish long term agreements for three years between the successful bidders and WHO with the possibility extension subject to satisfactory performance and price competitiveness.

Suppliers must express their Intention to bid by clicking the “opt in” tab on the tender published on UNGM, before 08 July 2021 [23:59] CET. Supporting document, Annex 6 Confidentiality undertaking to be submitted as part of the bid submission.
Any questions or clarifications relating to the attached documents shall be addressed in writing via UNGM before 18 June, 2021 [23:59] CET.
A summary of all the questions & answers will be shared with the bidders as soon as possible.
The closing date for the bids will be on 08 July, 2021 [23:59] CET. Bids received after the stipulated date and time shall not be accepted under any circumstances. Bids delivered through courier or posted later than the due date shall not be considered.
