Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids – Rebidding
The Government of FSM has received a grant from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Chuuk Water Supply and Sanitation Project (CWSSP). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB. The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB will govern the bidding.
The Chuuk Public Utilities Corporation (“the Employer”) invites Bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of smart water meters for the existing and future consumers on Weno, Chuuk State. The items to be provided and delivered to Chuuk in this Contract include:
- Mechanical volumetric water meters with AMR Unit including replaceable battery
- Above ground meter boxes and fittings
- Handheld AMR data collection devices
- Bluetooth RF master radio if required
- Prepaid unit with automated valve
- Data Handling Hardware/Software for prepaid units
- Installation and training
International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure, and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries.
