Invitation to Bid for Supply of Wooden Boat Construction Materials Boat Engines and Fishing Gear

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental organization established in 1951 and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits both migrants and society.

In the framework of 2017 PAMANA project funded by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process (OPAPP) under the component of livelihood support to communities, The International Organization for Migration (IOM), Cotabato Office invites interested qualified suppliers based in Philippines with supply experience in ARMM region, technical and financial capacity in supply of large quantities of boat construction materials Engines and Fishing Gear. The selected suppliers are expected to make deliveries to IOM identified each boat construction sites in Maguindanao, LDS, Sulu, Basilan and Tawi-Tawi provinces of ARMM region in Philippines.

The construction materials are divided into following three main groups and fishing gear in to 10 packages interested supplier may opt to bid for all the groups/packages or only one group/package and all provinces or only one province.

1. Fishing Gear (10 Packages)-ITB003/CBO/2018
2. Group A-Boat Engines- ITB005/CBO/2018
3. Group B-Local Lumber- ITB005/CBO/2018
4. Group C-Marine Plywood and Other Hardware Materials-ITB005/CBO/2018

OBTAINING OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS

Interested bidders may obtain further information and request a complete set of bidding documents free of cost through sending an email to mpd_procurement@iom.int or by visiting IOM office located at 4 Ilang-Ilang Street, Mother Barangay Rosary Heights, Cotabato City, Maguindanao Tel: (064) 421-1366 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM between 17 Dec 2018 – 04 Jan 2018.

BIDS SUBMISSION and OPENING:

The bids along with required documentation for this tender must be delivered in a sealed envelope clearly marked; Supply and Delivery of Boat Construction Materials and Fishing Gear in person or through registered mail to IOM Cotabato Office address on or before 09 Jan 2019 not later than 5:30 PM. Late submissions, unsealed envelopes or bids sent via emails shall be rejected.

Bid opening will be carried out by IOM on 10 Jan 2019, 10 AM in the presence of the bidders who wish to attend and have confirmed their presence in bid opening prior to 04 Jan 2019 by email or phone.

Please note IOM reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, and to cancel the procurement process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of Purchase Order or Contract or split the award if necessary without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Supplier/s or any obligation to inform the affected Supplier/s of the ground for IOM’s action.
