Item Description:

UNICEF is seeking to establish Long Term Agreements for Services (LTAS) for a duration of 3 to 5 years with qualified service providers who are knowledgeable in providing complex market research, intelligence and advisory services in a wide range of industry sectors related to UNICEF’s scope of work such as health, nutrition, water & sanitation, education, child protection and disability.

The services to be furnished by selected service providers under these LTAS will help inform UNICEF’s strategic decisions including on procurement approaches, financing solutions, market influencing interventions, as well as its targeted engagement with key industries, suppliers and partners in support of achieving its market objectives and ultimately the goals laid out in its Strategic Plan.

In terms of industry segments, the requested market research and analysis services will largely focus on industries that UNICEF regularly engages with including for vaccines, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, medical supplies and diagnostics, water and sanitation, cold chain equipment, education supplies and services, and assistive technologies. However, they may also extend to other industry sectors that UNICEF has so far not regularly engaged with, but that are relevant to address current and future needs of children and young people.

The selected service providers should have the requisite expertise in and be able to deliver services that respond to the requirements of at least four out of the six standard Service Areas outlined below.

• Service Area 3: Global Innovation/Pipeline Analysis
• Service Area 4: Market Scoping/Landscape Mapping
• Service Area 5: Industry Engagement/Market Influencing Strategy
• Service Area 6: Comprehensive Company Profile/Engagement Strategy
