Mobile Communication Carrier services

Item Description:

The call for tender is in order to sign a framework contract with one economic operation for mobile communication services (voice, SMS and data) for Europol and EMA. Included in this call for tender are also rental of devices and related services.

This is a joint procurement procedure for EU Agencies Europol and The European Medicines Agency (“EMA”) (hereafter jointly referred to as `the contracting authority’` or individually as “the Agency”).

Europol

Europol is the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation which supports its Member States in preventing and combating all forms of international serious crime and terrorism. Europol’s vision is to contribute to a safer Europe by providing the best possible support to law enforcement authorities in the Member States. This to be achieved by delivering a unique set of operational services for the European Union, developing as its principal:

• support centre for law enforcement operations;
• criminal information hub and
• Centre for law enforcement expertise.

EMA

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is a decentralised agency of the European Union (EU), located in London. It began operating in 1995. The Agency is responsible for the scientific evaluation, supervision and safety monitoring of medicines in the EU.

The European Medicine Agency is currently located in London and will be relocating in Amsterdam (from March 2019: Spark Building, Orlyplein 24, 1043 DP Amsterdam, Netherlands; from November 2019: Domenico Scarlattilaan 1083 HN Amsterdam, Netherlands) following the notification to the EU by the UK of its intention to leave the EU under Article 50 of the Treaty on European Union.
