Physical Security ICT Infrastructure Services at the United Nations Headquarthers (UNHQ) and Annex Buildings in New York – Installation, Support and Maintenance Services

It is anticipated that the United Nations Procurement Division will be issuing a solicitation for the above subject requirement.

In this connection, the United Nations invites qualified and eligible vendors to indicate their interest in providing support, maintenance, and installation services for the security system infrastructure at UNHQ; including, but not limited to: a) complete, comprehensive, preventive, and remedial maintenance and support services for the list ofl software systems and installed hardware; b) repair and replacement equipment support; documentation and change management; inventory control; additional General Assembly services, as required; etc.

The initial scope of required services is limited to the Access Control, Video Surveillance, Perimeter Instrusion Detection, and Badge and ID systems, however the contractor support services must ensure interoperability and integration with the entire suite of elements associated with the UN ICT Physical Security related infrastructure and the complete list of existing hardware and software . The current UN ICT Physical Security Infrastructure includes the following technology elements:

1. Software House Access Control Panels
2. ACS Turnstiles/Portals
3. American Disabilities Act (ADA) Gates, or international equivalent
4. Comtec Packaged Programmable Logical Controllers (PLCs)
5. Badging and Monitoring Workstations
6. American Dynamics Video Surveillance System and related hardware to support the existing Security Operations Center (SOC)
7. Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems (PIDS)
8. Axis Analog and Digital fixed and PTZ CCTV Cameras
