Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

This contract will be jointly financed by the Green Climate Fund (GCF) and ADB. Procurement rules and procedures of ADB will govern the bidding process. No nationality restrictions apply other than any restriction arising from Instruction to Bidders Clause 4.
The Tonga Power Limited (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the design, construction, installation, integration in the existing power system infrastructure and commission of a battery energy storage system (BESS)
