Provision of rental tents and associated equipment for the UN Headquarters in New York

The Procurement Division (PD) of the United Nations Headquarters in New York is seeking to rent tents and associated equipment to be installed at UN Headquarters premises in New York. In this regard, the UN is requesting expressions of interest from qualified companies which may be interested in participating in the solicitation process. The United Nations may consider establishing a long term contract for this purpose for five years duration.

For this purpose, PD shall shortly issue an Invitation to Bid to vendors who express interest to participate in the solcitation process.

The tents are required to facilitate the General Assembly activities and shall be required from 07 September 2019 (Installation Date) through 12 October 2019 (Dismantle/Pick-up Date).

The requirements are split into two Lots:

Lot 1: Media Tent:

A single tent in a size of approximately 50’X130′ which must have Anchor Span or similar heavy duty clear span structure frame with solid white side walls and white roof, with ramps, entrance and exit “flushed to the floor”, with stable and sturdy floor, equipped with sufficient lighting, exit signs, HVAC and air ventilation. Furniture in the way of simple work tables and charis to accomidate up to 300 people. The provision of portable restrooms to accomidate the specified number of participants.

Lot 2: Security tents:

Two tents are required in a size of 20’X60′ ft and 25’X40′ ft must have Anchor Span or similar heavy duty clear span structure frame with solid white side walls and white roof, with ramps, entrance and exit “flushed to the floor”, with stable and sturdy floor, equipped with sufficient lighting, exit signs, HVAC and air ventilation.
