Construction / reconstruction and completion of embankment and regulator works

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) towards the cost of the Flood and Riverbank Erosion Risk Management Investment Program (FRERMIP) – Project 1. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Bangladesh Water Development Board (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for construction / reconstruction and completion of embankment and regulator works (“the Works”).
