Procurement of Greater Male’ Solid Waste Collection Equipment

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Republic of Maldives has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Greater Male’ Environmental Improvement and Waste Management Project and part of this financing will be used for payment under the Contract Package named above.

The Ministry of Finance, on behalf of Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Technology (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the:

Procurement of Greater Male’ Solid Waste Collection Equipment

• LOT 1: Refuse collection vehicles with lifter, skip trucks (including skip containers), multipurpose dump truck.
• LOT 2: Waste collection bins.

International Competitive Bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
