Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh (the recipient) has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Bangladesh Power System Enhancement and Efficiency Improvement Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.
The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB) (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the package (herein after referred to as “Goods”).
International competitive bidding (ICB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible countries as defined in Bidding Documents.
