Provision of Moving Services to the UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified contractor to establish a contract for the Provision of Moving Services to the UNGSC, Brindisi (Italy) on an “as and when required basis”.

The moving services shall be carried out at the UNGSC Brindisi’s premises, which covers an area of approximately 400,000 square meters with around 500 staff.
The UNGSC’s premises comprises of mostly one-story buildings; however, there are three 4-story buildings with elevators and two 2-story without elevator.

The required moving services shall include, but will not be limited to:

– Collection and distribution of water bottles (weight ~18 Lt) to various buildings, and collecting and delivering of empty water bottles to the UNGSC’s storage point;

– Moving of various furniture and equipment, including assembling and disassembling of office furniture, setting up of internal and external spaces for conferences/events, fixing and removing outdoor furniture using scaffolding if necessary, moving boxes from offices to the archive, moving safes, etc.

The Contractor shall be responsible for providing the appropriate workforce and equipment, including, but not limited to, supervision, materials, tools, vehicles, and equipment necessary to carry out the services following the applicable laws and regulations.
