Provision of Travel Consultancy Services

The United Nations Travel and Transportation Section (TTS), located at the UN Headquarters (UNHQ), New York, USA, seeks to acquire a provider of travel consulting services focusing on reviewing the existing United Nations Secretariat travel policies and conducting data analysis to identify opportunities for additional cost savings and greater process efficiency.

TTS is in need of expert services from an experienced travel industry consulting company

(1) to conduct a comprehensive, qualitative and quantitative review of the central United Nations travel policies vis-à-vis industry standards and best practices;

(2) to provide an in-depth review of proposed policy revisions and process enhancements in order to provide viable options that are aligned to management reform initiatives which would deliver meaningful cost savings and also take into consideration the unique operational nature and fiscal processes of the United Nations;

(3) to produce a final report within a 3 to 4-month period that provides recommendations for programme improvements and initiatives prioritization to assist senior leadership in determining and shaping the proposals to be made to legislative bodies during the next reporting cycle (2020-2021).
