About EIGE
The EIGE is a regulatory agency of the European Union established to contribute to and strengthen the promotion of gender equality, including gender mainstreaming in all EU policies and the resulting national policies, and the fight against discrimination based on sex, as well as to raise EU citizens’ awareness of gender equality by providing technical assistance to EU institutions, in particular the Commission and the authorities of the Member States.
EIGE strives to promote gender equality in all aspects of society across Europe and beyond. Since its foundation, EIGE has developed many innovative tools and methods that have produced much needed evidence-based research as well as comparable and reliable gender statistics. The tasks also involve contributing to improved policy implementation by the exchange of good practices and increased dialogue among stakeholders and EU citizens. EIGE has committed itself to provide high quality research and data to support better-informed and evidence-based decision-making by policy makers and other key stakeholders working to achieve gender equality.
To contribute to the implementation of the above-mentioned tasks, EIGE launches this call for tender with a goal to conclude a contract with a professional service provider for the project: Estimation of girls at risk of female genital mutilation in the European Union.
