Europol is the European Union Agency for Law Enforcement Cooperation, which supports its Member States in preventing and combating all forms of international serious organised crime, cybercrime and terrorism. Europol’s vision is to contribute to a safer Europe by providing the best possible support to law enforcement authorities in the Member States.

Scope and Objectives

The objective of this procurement procedure is to provide Europol with a Layer-3 (L3) IP encryption solution (composed of encryptors and related management infrastructure), along with a Layer-2 (L2) solution for the Europol Premises and/or other locations, that ensures the accreditation requirements for communication to Europol partners and remote officers. Due to security and technical constraints, the devices must be based on SINA technology5 . In addition, Europol wishes to procure the related professional services and maintenance for all relevant geographic network end-points, located inside the European Union (all EU Member States), but also outside the European Union (worldwide locations).
