The European Commission, Joint Research Centre, (referred to below as the contracting authority) is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their annexes. All documents are available in the attached ZIP File.

The subject of this call for tenders is the provision of security and guard services for the Joint Research Centre in Petten, the Netherlands.

The services that are the subject of this call for tender, including any minimum requirements, are described in detail in the document Tender Specifications – part 2: Technical specifications, hereafter referred to as Technical specifications.

Variants (alternatives to the model solution described in the Tender Specifications) are not allowed. The Contracting authority will disregard any variants described in a tender.

Background and objectives

This contract includes the provision of security and guard services on the site and in the buildings of the Joint Research Centre in Petten, the Netherlands. The JRC-Petten site needs to have a 24 hours/7 days a week security and guard services.

The current contract will expire 31/12/2020 and it is the intention of the Contracting Authority to conclude a new contract at least two months before the expiry of the current contract. This time is needed to allow a proper handover in case the contract is awarded to a new service provider.
