The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Government of India has received financing from the ADB towards the cost of Assam Power Sector Investment Program – Tranche 3. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The Assam Power Generation Corporation Limited (APGCL) (“the Purchaser”) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for “Supply, installation, commissioning and warranty for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, related accessories, local area networking equipment’s and set-up along with related system software’s and cabling in APGCL Locations”.

International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope (1S1E) bidding procedure and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
