Acquisition of pumping units and electrical control cabinets including installation for the station on Oued Hachef in Tangier

Item Description:

This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this project which updated was published on the EBRD website, Procurement Notices (http://www.ebrd.com) on 09/11/2020.

The National Office for Electricity and Drinking Water(“L’Office National de l’Electricité et de l’Eau Potable” or “ONEE”),, here in after referred to as “the Employer”, intends using part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the “Bank” or the “EBRD”) towards the cost of ONEE Water Supply Project.

The Purchaser now invites sealed tenders from Contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan: “Acquisition of pumping units and electrical control cabinets including installation for the station on Oued Hachef in Tangier.”

Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country.

To be qualified for the award of a contract, tenderers must satisfy the following minimum criteria:

• The tenderer must have an average annual turnover of at least seven million five hundred thousand Moroccan Dirhams excluding tax (7 500 000, 00 MAD), which is the total of effected payments received for on-going and / or completed contracts during the three (03) years (2017-2018-2019).
• Experience as principal contractor in the context of at least two (2) contracts of similar work type and nature in the past ten (10) years that include:

“The supply, transport and installation of at least two vertical axis type electric pump units equipped with shaft-line pumps with motors installed outside, with unit power greater than or equal to 90 kW.”

All tenders must be accompanied by a tender security of least seventy-two thousand Morocco Dirhams (72 000MAD) or its equivalent in a convertible currency.

The project site visit is not scheduled for this project.

Tenders must be delivered to the office at the address below on or before 24/03/2021 at 09.00hours (local time), They will be opened in the presence of tenderers representatives who choose to attend.
