Improvement and Rehabilitation Works of National Road No.6 (Approximately 43.352km)

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Kingdom of Cambodia has received a loan from the ADB towards the cost of the Road Network Improvement Project. Part of this loan will be used for payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.

The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) of the Kingdom of Cambodia (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Improvement and Rehabilitation Works for approximately 43.352km of National Road No.6 (“The Works”). The Works include asphalt overlay, pipe culvert, U-side drains, performance-based maintenance both during construction and 18-months after completion of the construction.

Open Competitive Bidding (International Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with the ADB’s Single Stage – One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
