Provision of Services for transportation of MONUSCO Personnel

MONUSCO seeks expression of interest from qualified vendors that would be interested to participate in the competitive bidding for long term contract for the Provision of Services for transportation of MONUSCO Personnel between KIGALI (RWANDA) – GOMA (DRC) – KIGALI (RWANDA) AND BUJUMBURA (BURUNDI) – BUKAVU (DRC) – BUJUMBURA (BURUNDI).

The requirement entails the use of commercial bus services for transportation of MONUSCO personnel between the above mentioned locations. The bidder must be able to provide all services included in the solicitation, though UN reserves the right to split the award in a combination that best represents the interest of the Mission.

MONUSCO will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly and accordingly intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide relevant information demonstrating their ability to fulfill MONUSCO requirements. In addition, the interested companies shall be requested to complete the UN Vendor registration for Level 2 on the vendor database accessible in UNGM (new Vendor only). A detail specification will be provided to companies shortlisted for receipt of the documents.

Please note that this request for EOI is not an invitation for submission of bid.

MONUSCO reserves the right in selecting the Invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities. Submission of an EOI would not automatically warrant receipt of the documents; MONUSCO reserves the right to reject EOI’s received after the deadline indicated below.

The Expression of Interest may be submitted by email to monusco-procurement@un.org, copy mukandilaw@un.org, clearly marked with the inscription “EOI- Provision of Bus Services for the transportation of MONUSCO personnel between KIGALI (RWANDA) – GOMA (DRC) – KIGALI (RWANDA) AND BUJUMBURA (BURUNDI) -BUKAVU (DRC) – BUJUMBURA (BURUNDI) and addressed as follows, to be received no later than 02 July 2020 at 15.00 hours Goma time (GMT +2)
