Item Description:
The United Nations Mission in Lebanon (UNIFIL) has a requirement for the Provision of Hazardous and Medical Waste Removal, Recycling, Treatment and/or Services (Waste Engine/Gear Oil, Petroleum/oil/lubricant contaminated material, Carbon zinc batteries. Lithium batteries, Alkaline batteries, Laptop batteries, Lead acid batteries, Damaged vehicles, used vehicle parts, metals, Used tyres, Refrigerating equipment containing Ozone depleting substances, cooking oil, toner cartridge, expired unused medical supplies, etc.)
UNIFIL therefore intends to establish a contract with a qualified company for an initial period of three (3) years with a possibility of optional extension for two (2) additional periods of one (1+1) year each.
UNIFIL will undertake a competitive solicitation exercise shortly and consider inviting those companies that have expressed their interest and provided initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNIFIL’s requirement.
Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of a price proposal.
Interested companies must complete the Vendor Response Form and return it to the attention of UNIFIL Chief Procurement Officer. Your response must be submitted not later than 04:00 PM Eastern European Time (Local time in Lebanon) on 12 August 2020, via (a) E-mail to unifil-eoi@un.org.
