Services Related to Offering Capacity to Plan, Organise and Support Training Courses in Cooperation with JEU, WHO, WFP, OCHA/INSARAG

The European Commission is an institution of the European Union, responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, upholding the EU treaties and managing the day-to-day business of the EU.

The European Commission, Directorate-General for European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), referred to below as the contracting authority, is planning to award the contract(s) resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract(s) and tender specifications with their respective annexes. All documents are available in the attached ZIP File.

With this call for tender, the union civil protection mechanism intends to strengthen the cooperation with the UN agencies in the area of training. The aim is to ensure the interoperability and co-operation in case of a deployment and to further train the competences and knowledge about the disaster response and coordination during a response. The courses will be targeted towards participating states’ experts and ECHO staff and to participants identified by the UN agencies.
