Item Description:
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of COVID-19 Response Emergency Assistance Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contracts named above. This contract will be jointly financed by ADB and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. The eligibility rules and procedures of the ADB’s Procurement Regulations will govern the bidding process.
The Directorate General of Health Service (“the Purchaser”) invites online bids/tenders from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of KN-95 Masks (the “Goods”) with the following details. Goods are to be delivered to designated place(s) mentioned in the electronic Tender Document (e-TD) document as summarized below:
Procurement of KN-95 Masks: Quantity (Sets) 500,000; Delivery period, 60 days.
Open Competitive Bidding (National Advertisement) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelope bidding procedure through the national electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) portal of Bangladesh (https://www.eprocure.gov.bd/).
