Provision of Interpretation Services for Conferences and Events, including Remote Interpretation, Organised in and Outside of Malta and the Rental of Relevant Interpretation Equipment

Item Description:

The European Asylum Support Office (referred to below as the contracting authority) is planning to award the contract resulting from the above procurement procedure. The procurement documents consist of the contract notice, the invitation letter, the draft contract and tender specifications with their respective annexes. Purpose

The overall objective of this procurement procedure is to conclude single Framework Service Contract (hereinafter FWC) for the provision of reliable and high quality conference interpretation services for face-to-face and/or remote events, including rental of relevant interpretation equipment for mobile or remote interpretation.

The resulting contracts will serve as operational preparedness tools and provide for contingency capabilities, enabling EASO to request services if and when needed for its operational activities. Any volumes of services will therefore largely depend on operational needs and cannot be foreseen at the present moment. To that end, minimum volume of services cannot be established or expected.

Provision of Interpretation Services for Conferences and Events is required for EASO to facilatte communication during practical cooperation events, conferences, expert meetings, specialized workshops, seminars and training sessions in Malta and also on site in Members States and third countries where EASO is providing operational support in order to facilitate the participation of the key stakeholders and beneficiaries.
