Item Description:
The World Health Organization (WHO) is seeking offers for modelling of epidemiological, social & economic impacts of COVID-19 vaccination strategies to inform deliberations of the WHO’s Strategic Advisory Group of Experts (SAGE) on Immunization. Your ☒ Company ☒ Institution is invited to submit a proposal for the services in response to this Request for Proposal(RFP).
WHO is a public international organization, consisting of 194 Member States, and a Specialized Agency of the United Nations with the mandate to act as the directing and coordinating authority on international health work. As such, WHO is dependent on the budgetary and extra-budgetary contributions it receives for the implementation of its activities. Bidders are, therefore, requested to propose the best and most cost-effective solution to meet WHO requirements, while ensuring a high level of service.
Requirements
WHO requires the successful bidder, to carry out modelling of COVID-19 vaccination scenarios to address one or more of the questions specified in the Annex; providers do not need to answer all questions in the Annex. As described further in the Annex, the anticipated deliverables of the work include:
(i) Methodology document providing scenarios, key input parameter values and data sources;
(ii) Presentation slide decks with preliminary and final model results;
(iii) Conference calls with the WHO SAGE Working Group on COVID-19 Vaccines and WHO Immunization, Vaccines, and Biologicals Department staff (Value of Vaccination, Modeling, and Economics Team) to receive feedback on methodology and results;
(iv) Pre-print or other report format posted on a publicly accessible website reporting the final model results.
