Item Description:
This Invitation for Bids (IFB) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared in United Nations Development Business online (UNDB online), and on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org).
The United Republic of Tanzania (hereinafter called “Borrower”) received financing from the African Development Bank (AfDB) and Global Agriculture and Food Security Program (GAFSP) in the form of a financing towards the cost of Tanzania Initiatives for Preventing Aflatoxin Contamination (TANIPAC) Project. The Ministry of Agriculture intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Proposed Construction of 14 Warehouses and Outdoor Supporting facilities.
The Ministry of Agriculture now invites sealed Bids from eligible contractors for the execution of the works. The works have been packed into 14 lots scattered in the deferent geographical locations in Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
