Supply, Commissioning and Warranty of a Truck Mounted Container X-Ray Scanner

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Independent State of Samoa has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of Enhancing Safety, Security and Sustainability of Apia Port, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. All those bidders who participated in the previous bidding process that was discharged, if interested, are required to submit their bids afresh.

The Ministry of Customs and Revenue (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Supply, Commissioning and Warranty of a Truck Mounted Container X-Ray Scanner.

International Competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single- Stage: One-Envelope (1S1E) bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Documents.
