Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of the 80MW/200MWH Battery Energy Storage System Plus 2 Years of Start-Up Operation Support

Invitation for Bids

The Government of Mongolia has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the First Utility-Scale Energy Storage Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the contract named above.

The Ministry of Energy, Mongolia (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the construction and completion of “Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of the 80MW/200MWh Battery Energy Storage System, plus 2 years of start- up operation support” (“the Facilities”).

Open Competitive Bidding (International) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all eligible Bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
