Supply, Installation and Commissioning of CT Scan

The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB was founded in 1964 and comprises three entities: The African Development Bank, the African Development Fund and the Nigeria Trust Fund. The AfDB’s mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).

The Republic of Sudan has received Financing from the African Development Fund hereinafter called the Bank in various currencies towards the cost of Building Capacity for Inclusive Service Delivery Project (BCISD) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for procurement of CT Scan Machine. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Bank’s Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing, except for those payments, which the contract provides to be made through letter of credit.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Development now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply, Installation, and Commissioning of one (1) unit of CT Scan Machine for Kosti Hospital in White Nile State and the provision of relevant Trainings.

Bidding will be conducted through the Open Competitive Bidding (International), (OCBI) method as specified in the Bank’s Procurement Framework [Procurement Policy for Bank-Group Funded Operations, dated October 2015, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework.
