Item Description:

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from companies who wish to participate in the upcoming bidding exercise for the Provision of Terrorism Insurance cover for the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), UN Complex, Gigiri, Nairobi which will result into a systems contract for initial one year with an option to extend for two periods of one year each. Subsequent to the closing date of this EOI, UNON intends to issue a fromal solicitation to potential companied who in the UNON’s opinion are capable to tpovide the services in accordance with the requriements that will be fully speficied in the subsequent solicitation document. The complete details of qualification requirements will be provided in the solicitation document. The insurer will be responsible for the undertaking of full terrorism insurance, determine the actual risk undertakings within the complex and also provide maximum indemnity cover in the event of loss/damage and claims to the UN. The insurer should be able to provide the most intensive coverage available; incorporating all necessary additional clauses to ensure there is no gaps. Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms to pdnairobi@unon.org. All EOI submissions should be sent via email, citing the EOI reference number and title in the subject line. UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only Vendors which in UN’s sole discretion are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents.
