Provision of Waste Water Treatment and Recycling Plant at the UN Complex in Gigiri, Nairobi, Kenya

Item Description:

i) The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) invites suitably qualified firms to submit their Expression of Interest to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the Provision of Maintenance of Waste Water Treatment and Recycling Plant. ii) The services involves undertaking of preventive and corrective maintenance, running tests, routine servicing, samples tests and emergency repairs of the waste water treatment and recycling plant installed within the United Nations Compound at Gigiri. iii) The system is designed to handle 120m of waste water per day and it shall include but not be limited to the following: – Septic tanks – Settling tanks each fitted with an aeration pump – Bioreactor tanks fitted with aeration pumps – Holding tanks – Associated pipe works and system connections – UV treatment system complete with UV lamps – Digital chlorine dosing pump complete with tank – Pumps control panels and associated components – Electrical feeds and controls.
