Rehabilitation and Upgrading the Road connecting the center of Thuong An commune, Ngan Son district of Bac Kan province with Hoa Tham commune, Nguyen Binh district, Cao Bang province

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

Invitation for Bids

The Socialist Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the ADB toward the cost of the Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the Northeastern Provinces Sector Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of the ADB.

The BIIG1 – Bac Kan Subproject Project Management Unit invites e-bids from eligible Bidders for the Rehabilitation and upgrading 10.371 km roads up to the standard of grade VI mountainous roads (according to Standard 4054-2005: Highway − Specifications for design) and constructing 3 bridges on the route in Ngan Son district, Bac Kan province.

The contract will be completed in 16 months.

National Competitive Bidding (NCB) will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible source countries as described in the Bidding Document
