Rehabilitation and upgrading roads from Ha Giang city to Binh Vang industrial park, Ha Giang province

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of the Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the Northeastern Provinces Sector Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Package No. HG 02: Rehabilitation and upgrading roads from Ha Giang city to Binh Vang industrial park, Ha Giang province.

The Project Management Unit of Ha Giang Provincial Department of Planning and Investment now invites eligible contractors to submit online bid for the works under Package HG 02 consisting of rehabilitating and upgrading 24,311 km (the length of the main route section: 20,69 km and the length of the branch route section: 3.621 km) of grade-IV and grade-V mountainous road (Standard 4054-2005: Highway – Specifications) and construction of 01 bridge on the route in Ha Giang city and Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province. The construction period is 24 months.

National Open Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope procedures and is open to all eligible bidders as described in the Bidding Document.
