Rehabilitation and upgrading road from Dong Tam commune, Bac Quang district to Ngoc Linh commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.

ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.

The Social Republic of Vietnam has received financing from the Asian Development Bank toward the cost of the Basic Infrastructure for Inclusive Growth in the Northeastern Provinces Sector Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Package No. HG 01: Rehabilitation and upgrading roads from Dong Tam commune, Bac Quang district to Ngoc Linh commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province.

The Project Management Unit of Ha Giang Provincial Department of Planning and Investment now invites eligible contractors to submit online bid for the works under Package HG 01 consisting of rehabilitating and upgrading 24,896 km of grade-IV mountainous road (Standard 4054-2005: Highway – Specifications) and construction of 4 bridges on the route in Bac Quang and Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province. The construction period is 24 months.

National Open Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One Envelope procedures and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.
