The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) or Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD) is a multilateral development finance institution. The AfDB was founded in 1964 and comprises three entities: The African Development Bank, the African Development Fund and the Nigeria Trust Fund. The AfDB’s mission is to fight poverty and improve living conditions on the continent through promoting the investment of public and private capital in projects and programs that are likely to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. The AfDB is a financial provider to African governments and private companies investing in the regional member countries (RMC).
Request for Expressions of interest [REOI]
The Ministry of Education, State Department of Vocational and Technical Training has received financing from the African Development Bank toward the cost of the Support to Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for relevant skills development project (TVET phase II project), and intends to apply part of the agreed amount of this loan to payments under the contract for a consulting firms to provide consultancy services in digitization of competency based education & training (CBET) curricula in Kenya under the project.
The services included under this project are:
a) To Develop guidelines for end to end digitization of CBET curriculum
b) To provide detailed requirements for hardware and software required for digitization of CBET content.
c) To Digitalize materials to be used on eLearning platforms and also to be synchronized with the classroom learning to ensure a unique blended learning experience
d) To Capacity built Trainer of Trainers (ToT) on the development of Digital Content and delivery using e-learning platforms and blending with classroom teaching.
The Ministry of Education, State Department for Vocational and Technical Training now invites eligible consultants to express their interest in providing the above consultancy service.
