Provision of sea freight services required for the dispatch of the UN Equipment from UNGSC/UNLB in Brindisi, Italy on “as and when required basis” to worldwide destinations. By way of this generic Request for Expression of Interest (EOI), the United Nations Global Service Centre/United Nations Logistics Base (UNGSC/UNLB) seeks qualified contractors for the provision of sea freight services required for the dispatch of the UN Equipment (mainly sea containers and vehicles) from UNGSC/UNLB in Brindisi, Italy on “as and when required basis” to worldwide destinations, including but not limited to: 1. Abidjan, Ivory Coast – (CFR terms) 2. Bamako, Mali (via Dakar) – (DAP terms) 3. Bangui, Central African Republic – (DDP terms) 4. Beirut, Lebanon – (CFR terms) 5. Dakar, Senegal – (CFR terms) 6. Entebbe, Uganda – (DAP terms) 7. Juba, South Sudan – (DAP terms) 8. Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo – (DAP terms) 9. Lattakia, Syria – (CFR terms) 10. Libreville, Gabon – (CFR terms) 11. Limassol, Cyprus – (CFR terms) 12. Mombasa, Kenya – (CFR terms) 13. Monrovia, Liberia – (CFR terms) 14. Port-Au-Prince, Haiti – (CFR terms) 15. Port Sudan, Sudan – (CFR terms) 16. Arusha, Tanzania – (DAP terms) The selected contractor shall be able to provide the following services: – Collection and transportation of UN Equipment from UNGSC/UNLB, Brindisi – Italy to the designated port of exit with contractors owned equipment and personnel; – Transportation of the consignment from UNGSC/UNLB, Brindisi- Italy to the final destinations above listed; – Issuance of Bill of Lading and all necessary documentation required for the transit of the consignment; – Payment of ocean freight and related BAF and CAF surcharges; – Payment of terminal handling charges and other related fees at the port of entry (Door deliveries only); – Handling and inland transportation of the consignment from the port of entry to the consignee’s address (Door deliveries only); – Processing of import formalities at the point of entry (Door deliveries only). From time to time, UNGSC/UNLB will be sending specific requests for EOI for specific shipments to all those responded to this generic request for Expression of Interest and which are duly registered with UNGM, as instructed below, by the date when a specific requirement arises.
