Framework Contract for Provision of Crisis Management Consultancy Services

Item Description:

The European Border and Coast Guard Agency Frontex (hereinafter referred to as “Frontex” or “the Agency) was established in 2005 to assist both EU member states and other countries within the Schengen passport-free area in the management of their external borders and to bring greater consistency and harmonization to EU border control. The Agency facilitates cooperation between border and coast guard authorities by providing the necessary technical support and expertise available where and when it is needed. Frontex promotes, coordinates and develops European border management in line with the EU fundamental rights charter applying the concept of Integrated Border Management. Subject of the contract

The subject of the contract is provision of crisis management consultancy services (training, exercise, support, awareness), as described in Terms of Reference (Annex II). In order to ensure continuous professional improvement to crisis management, the service provider shall facilitate the testing of the FRONTEX crisis management and business continuity frameworks and training among staff. Services shall include the delivery of crisis management events and consultation services which shall have a crisis communications and business continuity management component. The events shall be delivered to FRONTEX Headquarters staff, to Standing Corps deployed outside of FRONTEX Headquarters and to Divisional level.
