Design, Supply, Install, Operate and Maintenance of GABAL El-ASFAR WWTP – Stage III (Phases A&B)

This Invitation for Prequalification (IFP) follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this Project that appeared on the African Development Bank’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org), DG Markets (https://www2.dgmarket.com/) and on Egyptian newspapers ( EL Ahram – Egyptian Gazette) on 21-22/1/2022.

The Government of Arab Republic of Egypt has applied for a financing from the African Development Bank (AFDB) and the French Development Agency (AFD), toward the cost of Design- Build, Construction & Commissioning (including operations and maintenance) of GABAL El-ASFAR WWTP Stage III (Phases A&B) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract for Design-Supply, Install, Operate and maintenance of GABAL Al-ASFAR WWTP Stage III (Phases A&B).

The Construction Authority for Potable Water & Wastewater Intends to prequalify contractors and firms for: Design-Supply, Install , Operate and Maintenance of GABAL El-ASFAR WWTP Stage III (Phases A&B).

It is expected that Invitations for Bid (IFB) will be made on 1st June 2022.

Prequalification will be conducted through prequalification procedures specified in the in the African Development Bank’s Procurement Framework dated October 2015 (“Procurement Framework”), and is open to all eligible Applicants, as defined in the Procurement Framework.

Interested eligible applicants can obtain information of the pre-qualification document for free from the African Development Bank website (www.afdb.org), the pre-qualification document can by requested from CAPW official mail (capwotec_1@yahoo.com), or through DG Markets (https://www2.dgmarket.com/)

Applications for Prequalification should be submitted in sealed envelopes, delivered to the address below by Wednesday, 13 April 2022 12:00 pm, and be clearly marked “Application to Prequalify for:
