Consulting Services For Establishment Of Energy Data Center

Item Description:

The Republic of Turkey has been allocated grant funds from the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Trust Fund which are administered by theInternational Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and executed by the General Directorate of Foreign Relations and EU ofthe Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (MENR). MENR intends to apply the funds to eligible payments under the contract for Consulting Services for Establishment of Energy Data Center under IPA 2013 Energy Sector Program Phase-2.

The scope of the consulting services (“the Services”) will include the review of the current energy data collection system and improvement of MENR’s capacity.In this regard, The Consultant is expected to conduct relevant preparatory studies (need assessment, system design, identification of technical specifications, market research and commissioning of such centers) for the establishment of energy data center to bemanaged by the MENR. The duration of services is envisaged as 18 months.
