Provision of services for internal and external plastering and painting of various story buildings at its premises

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi, Italy has a requirement to establish a Long term Contract for the provision of services for internal and external plastering and painting of various story buildings at its premises.

An indication of the works to be performed are as follows, however, not limited to:

• Site Preparation and Safety Plan Implementation (including fencing, signalization, protections, etc.);
• Preparation of Safety Plan;
• Plaster Works, including but not limited to removal of old plaster, preparation of the surface area (including dismantling and replacement of various objects), repair of cracked plaster and supply of materials for internal masonry works;
• Painting Works (on various surfaces such as metal, wood, and concrete) for internal/external;
• Painting Works, including but not limited to preparing the surface by cleaning and applying one coat of primer, supply all materials, and painting with the required materials external areas;
• Painting Works, including but not limited to preparing the surface by cleaning and applying one coat of primer, supply all materials, and painting with the required materials internal areas;
• Cleaning and treatment of external marble or damp-proof course;
• Due to the height of some buildings, the use of scaffoldings may be required.
• Any other activity needed to carry out the works as per the best engineering practices.

The Contractor shall provide all necessary material, tools, equipment, services, labor, and vehicles required for this project and will be responsible for providing all that is necessary to fulfill its contractual obligations, including all submittals and certifications.

Interested Bidders will be required to attend a mandatory virtual Bidders’ Conference.

The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI.
