Item Description:
The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) has identified a requirement for the establishment of a long‐term contract for the provision of rental of light/medium/heavy buses with driver service at the United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Brindisi, Italy.
The services shall be carried out on an “as and when required basis” and are structured into five (5) routes (round and single trip):
a. UNGSC to/from Brindisi downtown;
b. UNGSC to/from Brindisi Civilian Airport;
c. Brindisi Civilian Airport to/from Brindisi downtown;
d. UNGSC -Brindisi downtown to/from outside Brindisi (up to 50km);
e. UNGSC -Brindisi downtown to/from outside Brindisi (from 51 up to 150km).
The vehicles must have all necessary authorizations / licenses to perform private transportation duties as dictated by the Italian Road Code Rules and Regulations during the entire duration of the Contract.
The resulting Contract will be established for an initial period of three (3) years with the UNGSC’s sole option to extend it for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1), subject to the Contractor’s satisfactory performance and United Nations Global Service Centre’s operational requirements.
Full technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS / INFORMATION (IF ANY)
In order to be awarded a Contract/Purchase Order, the Bidder/Vendor must be registered with the UN Secretariat through the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) for the required Level of Registration, which is “Level 1”, before the award of the Contract/Purchase Order.
Non-EU companies participating in the tenders for UNGSC requirements with services/goods delivery to Brindisi, Italy shall be duly registered and/or in possession of all the requisite documentation, certificates and permits as required to do business in the member countries of the European Union.
Pertinent requirements may be further stipulated in the tender documentation.
