Item Description:
The United Nations Office in Geneva, located at Palais des Nations in Geneva seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) for a solicitation it intends to issue for property insurance for its building structures, annexed properties, and contents in Geneva, as well as for the content and emergency deployment stock located in the UN logistics base in Brindisi, Italy.
In parallel UNOG will also be looking to secure construction insurance in the context of the Strategic Heritage Project for the renovation of the historic buildings that will last from 2019 until 2023.
The period of coverage will be: 1st July 2019 to 31 December 2023.
The total insured values for the property and contents insurance will be approximately CHF 1’200’000’000 and the maximum indemnity limit for each occurrence will be CHF 500’000’000.
The total cost of works for the renovation of the historic buildings is estimated at around CHF 240’000’000- 260’000’000.

L’Office des Nations Unies à Genève situé au Palais des Nations, Suisse, sollicite des des demandes d’expressions d’intérêt (EOI) pour participer à un appel d’offres concernant la police d’assurance de choses/perte d’exploitation pour ses bâtiments, annexes, et contenu des Nations Unies à Genève, ainsi que pour le contenu et matériel de déploiement pour les opérations d’urgence stocké dans la base logistique des Nations Unies à Brindisi, Italie.
En parallèle, l’ONUG cherchera également à souscrire une assurance construction dans le cadre du projet de patrimoine stratégique (SHP) pour la renovation de ses bâtiments historiques. Les travaux débuteront en 2019 et sont prevus jusqu’en 2023.
La période de couverture des polices d’assurance sera : 1er Juliet 2019 au 31décembre 2023.
Le total des valeurs assurés pour l’assurance des biens et contenu s’élève à environ CHF 1’200’000’000 et le plafond d’indemnisation maximal est fixé à CHF 500’000’000 par évènement.
Le coût total des travaux de rénovation des bâtiments historiques est d’environ de CHF 240’000’000 a 260’000’000..
