    Item Description:

The Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons’ (OPCW) mission is to implement the provisions of the Chemical Weapons Convention to achieve our vision of a world free of chemical weapons and the threat of their use, and in which chemistry is used for peace, progress, and prosperity.

The OPCW is seeking information on the development, market-available solutions for and associated cost structures of 3D Plant Site Simulator Models for Training Purposes.

The OPCW seeks to understand the market and associated cost structures for  the development of 3D simulator simplified models of ‘typical mock’ chemical plants from different industrial sectors, as indicated below:

    • 3D plant model of a refinery or a petrochemical complex (see annex I)
    • 3D plant model of a plant site engaged in the production of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) (see annex II)
    • 3D plant model of a plant site producing agrochemicals (see annex III)
    • 3D plant model of a middle-size plant site handling specialty chemicals (see annex IV)

The objective is to provide OPCW inspectors with an interactive simulator tool comprising 3D layouts of typical chemical plant sites, to be used for training purposes only.

The models will allow for a virtual walkthrough in the chemical plant site and will be used together with scenarios developed by the OPCW.

Interested parties should contact Procurement to receive the request for information (RFI) documents and include the RFI reference number IIC- 2023-01 in all enquiries.

    Submission deadline: 1 February 2023 16:00 CET

Information received by the OPCW after the submission due date will not be considered.
