Provision, Installation, Removal and Reinstallation of Split and Portable Air Conditioners at UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy

Item Description:

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC), Brindisi, has the requirement for a long-term agreement for the provision, installation, removal and reinstallation of split and portable air conditioners at the UNGSC, Brindisi, Italy.

The services shall be provided and carried out by the Contractor on an “as and when required basis” and are not limited to the:

• Provision and installation of wall mount air conditioner types
• Provision and installation of ceiling & floor mounted air conditioner types
• Provision and installation of portable air conditioner with external unit
• Removal and reinstallation of split and portable air conditioners
• Recovery and disposal of gas GWP (Global Warning Potential)
• Recovery and disposal of mineral oil
• Recovery and disposal of mineral oil polyester

The scope of services includes all goods and tasks required as listed above, including transportation, travel costs, professional equipment, items, accessories, consumables, installation kit (10 mt), spare parts, vehicles, engineering heavy vehicles and qualified personnel.

Subcontracting is permitted for minor activities, including but not limited to transportation and supply. However, the Contractor shall retain direct responsibility for the services outlined in the relevant Part(s) and shall ensure that these services are delivered in accordance with the terms of the resulting Agreement.

The complete technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage following the closing date for this EOI.

This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your Company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.

At the Bid submission, Vendors will be requested to provide evidence of compliance with the requirements and any applicable standards.

Details of the technical evaluation criteria and other requirements will be provided under the Invitation to Bid at a later stage.
