Procurement of Pop-up Catering Services for FAO Headquarters

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is an intergovernmental organization with more than 194 member countries. Since its inception, FAO has worked to alleviate poverty and hunger by promoting agricultural development, improved nutrition and the pursuit of food security – defined as the access of all people at all times to the food they need for an active and healthy life.

To achieve its goals, FAO cooperates with thousands of partners worldwide, from farmers’ groups to sellers, from non-governmental organizations to other UN agencies, from development banks to agribusiness firms (further and more detailed information on FAO can be found on the internet site: http://www.fao.org).

FAO is seeking information and submissions from qualified vendors to provide pop-up catering and related support services for FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy for about 100 servings per meal. We welcome submissions from companies specialized in culinary talents from all geographical locations in the world and associated support services. Vendors meeting the minimum requirements will be pre-qualified and invited to submit an offer for the provision of this service with the aim to establish a Concessionary Contract for an estimated period of six (6) months. The provision of services is expected to start from May/June to December 2022.
