The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The Republic of Vanuatu has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of Luganville Resilient Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project. Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Vanuatu Project Management Unit (VPMU) (“the Employer”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the design, construction and completion of Water Supply System in Luganville (“the Works”).
Open competitive bidding – international advertisement will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: Two-Envelope bidding procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
