The Asian Development Bank (ADB) was conceived in the early 1960s as a financial institution that would be Asian in character and foster economic growth and cooperation in one of the poorest regions in the world.
ADB assists its members, and partners, by providing loans, technical assistance, grants, and equity investments to promote social and economic development.
Invitation for Bids
The People’s Republic of Bangladesh has applied financing from the ADB toward the cost of Power Distribution Network Enhancement Project (also known in Bangladesh as “Capacity Enhancement of Distribution Network in 13 PBSs Surrounding Dhaka City under Rural Electrification Board (REB) Project”). Part of this financing will be used for payments under the Contract named above. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (the “Purchaser”) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Procurement of Line Hardware, Insulator, Conductor, Conductor & Guy Accessories & SPC Pole (the “Goods”).
