The Government of India/ Government of Uttar Pradesh (GOUP) have received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) towards cost of the Uttar Pradesh Water Sector Restructuring Project, Phase-II, and intend a part of the proceeds of this credit to cover eligible payments under the contractsfor the work as detailed below. Bidders are advised to note the minimum qualification criteria specified in Clause 4 of theInstructions to Bidders to qualify for the award of the contract.

Bidding will be conducted through theInternational Competitive Bidding procedure as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (Jan 2011 revised July 2014), andis open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.
