Expression of Interest (EOI): For prequalification of companies for the provision of Goods and Services for UNICEF Pakistan.

Item Description:

The United Nations Children´s Fund (UNICEF), works with governments, national and international organizations to promote child’s rights and development. In order to better support the programme needs of UNICEF Pakistan Country Office, supplies/services are procured from local vendors, manufacturers and firms.  UNICEF keeps a database of these local vendors that can be consulted at any time a tendering process is undertaken. Based on market evolutions, renewed market assessment is normally undertaken in order to maintain an up-to-date supplier database.  Amongst the categories of supplies and services generally required are as follows:

Duly established and financially sound companies and service providers are invited to fill out the Supplier Profile form as per annex I from 15 November through 10 December, 2017 . The completed filled forms along with the required documents should be submitted and dropped in the tender box either by courier or hand delivered ( 8.00 to 16.00 hrs.) at UNICEF premises located in the diplomatic enclave, street 5, sector G5, Islamabad. The closing date for returning/submitting the questionnaire in a sealed envelope, marked “S&L Unit” is on 10th December 2017 at 16.00 hrs together with relevant documents requested in annex I

Additionally suppliers interested in providing commodities and services to UNICEF should register in UNGM at Basic and Level 1 levels of registration: https://www.ungm.org/Account/Registration.

Please note the following:

• Suppliers are not charged to register in UNGM.
• UNICEF does not contract with suppliers who are non-compliant with the National Labour Laws and Regulations and with those who do not abide to ethical standards related to child labour and landmines.
• UNICEF payment terms are after delivery.
• UNICEF prefers to collaborate with manufacturers and with those who have previous working experience with either UN or International Organizations;

Upon registration in UNGM and notification of the same to the relevant UNICEF official by the supplier, UNICEF officials may visit the premises of the supplier.
